A forged ball valve is a type of valve that is constructed using a fogging process that involves shaping metal by exerting compressive force and is often used to make the valve body and other crucial components. This makes them withstand high pressure and temperature, providing excellent corrosion resistance. These valves provide a tight seal, which is crucial in applications where leakage prevention is critical. They consist of a ball shaped closure element with a fixed shaft that supports and guides the ball within the valve body. 

The valve is opened when the hole in the ball aligns with the flow direction and closed when the ball is rotated 90 degrees by the valve handle or actuator, and blocks the flow of fluids, and provides tight shut off when close and prevents leakage.
