Fully Welded Ball Valves eliminate all flanged connections through full-penetration welding of body sections and pipe ends, creating a monolithic assembly with zero external leak paths. This permanent installation method is essential for buried pipelines, subsea applications, and fugitive emission-critical services where flange leakage is environmentally or economically unacceptable.

The welded construction trades serviceability for absolute leak integrity—internal components cannot be accessed without cutting the valve body, but this sacrifice eliminates the primary failure mode of flanged valves: gasket degradation and bolt relaxation over time.
