Iron Globe Valve – Economical General Service

Iron globe valves (gray cast iron ASTM A126 Class B) provide economical flow control for low-pressure water, air, and steam applications throughout African municipal systems, building services, and light industrial facilities. Class 125 and Class 250 pressure ratings suit district heating, HVAC cooling water, and general utility service where higher-strength materials represent unnecessary expense for non-critical applications operating below 2.0 MPa (300 psi).

The gray iron construction offers excellent machinability, pressure containment for moderate service conditions, and cost advantages making these valves standard for African water utilities, commercial buildings, and industrial plants seeking budget-friendly throttling capability. Bronze trim provides corrosion resistance while cast iron bodies withstand water, saturated steam to 186°C, and compressed air service common across municipal and industrial infrastructure.
