Pneumatic Actuated Ball Valves integrate quarter-turn ball valves with pneumatic actuators, enabling remote or automatic operation controlled by process signals, SCADA systems, or safety instrumented systems (SIS). This automation eliminates manual operation requirements, critical for African oil & gas facilities, remote mining operations, and automated process plants where operator access is limited or dangerous.

The pneumatic actuation provides fast operation (typically 1-3 seconds), fail-safe spring-return designs, and intrinsic safety in explosive atmospheres. compressed air or gas converts to rotational torque through the actuator mechanism, rotating the ball 90° between fully open and fully closed positions in response to control signals or emergency shutdown commands.
