Design & Working Principle

The valve comprises of a three port globe body, a valve plug, seat assembly, stem, an actuator, and a positioner. An input signal from the automation system causes the actuator to actuate the valve plug which slides in the vertical direction within the body. In case of converging action, the valve effectively controls two inlet flows to combine them into a single outlet flow. In case of diverging action, the valve effectively divides a single inlet flow into two outlet flows.
