Globe Control Valve Manufacturer in Africa
Product Introduction
Maintaining stable pressure, flow, temperature, or liquid level is essential for efficient process operation. A Globe Control Valve is specifically designed to regulate fluid flow by accurately positioning the valve plug in response to changing process conditions. Unlike manually operated globe valves, this valve works with pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuators to provide continuous automatic control within industrial systems. African Valve is a Top Globe Control Valve Manufacturer in Africa, manufacturing and supplying Globe Control Valves in various material grades, pressure classes, trim configurations, and actuation options for projects across Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, and other African countries, along with international export destinations.
Why Is a Globe Control Valve Used?
Globe Control Valves are used where process variables must be controlled continuously rather than simply opened or closed. By adjusting the position of the valve plug according to signals received from a controller, the valve regulates the flow of liquids, gases, steam, and other process media with high accuracy. These valves are widely installed in power plants, refineries, chemical processing facilities, desalination plants, and industrial process systems where maintaining stable operating conditions improves efficiency, product quality, and equipment performance.
Design & Working Principle
The valve consists of a globe-style body, valve plug, seat ring, stem, actuator, and positioner. As the actuator receives a control signal, it moves the stem vertically, positioning the plug closer to or farther from the seat. This gradually changes the flow area inside the valve, allowing precise regulation of the process media. Depending on operating requirements, Globe Control Valves may be supplied with single-seated or double-seated trim, balanced or unbalanced plug designs, and pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuators. Accessories such as smart positioners, limit switches, solenoid valves, and air filter regulators can also be integrated to improve control accuracy.
