Seats, packing and gaskets are selected separately based on temperature, chemical compatibility and required sealing performance.
Stem Configuration
Rising Stem (RS): The stem moves vertically with the gate, providing visible valve-position indication. It requires additional clearance above the valve.
Non-Rising Stem (NRS): The stem rotates without moving vertically, allowing a more compact installation where space is limited. Valve position is indicated through the operating mechanism.
