Titanium Ball Valve

Titanium Grade 2 (UNS R50400) is commonly considered for corrosion-resistant applications, while Grade 5 (UNS R56400) provides higher mechanical strength where required by the valve design. The ball rotates approximately 90° to move between the open and closed positions, providing quick isolation with minimal flow obstruction when fully open. Titanium construction is particularly relevant to seawater, desalination and selected chemical services where chloride exposure and aggressive media influence material selection.
