Pneumatic Operation

The pneumatic diaphragm valve uses compressed air to operate the actuator, which moves the diaphragm to open, close or regulate the process flow. A double-acting actuator uses air pressure for both directions of movement, while a spring-return actuator uses air pressure in one direction and a spring for the opposite movement. This arrangement allows the valve to be operated remotely and integrated into automated process systems.
