How Does a Three Piece Ball Valve Simplify Maintenance?

The three-part construction creates the division between the body part, located in the middle, and the two connector parts, situated at both ends of the valve. This distinctive structure allows the repairmen to inspect and/or replace individual components of the valve like the ball, seats, and stem seal without having to detach the pipe from the production line. While the valve is operating normally, the electric drive rotates the ball through 90 degrees in order to start or stop the flow.

Valve Construction

The valve consists of two end-fittings, a removable central housing, floating ball, blow-out proof stem, valve seats, a ISO-mounting fitting, and an actuator driven by electrical means. Precision machining of the seal face provides dependable sealing while the actuator contains different configurations such as manual override, torque limiter, position indicator, limit switch, weather-proof, and explosion-proof housings
