Cryogenic Pneumatic Actuated Globe Valve

A cryogenic pneumatic actuated globe valve combines the regulating characteristics of a globe valve with pneumatic actuation for remote or automated operation. This arrangement can be useful where process flow needs to be adjusted repeatedly or where the valve must respond to an automated control system. For cryogenic service, the valve body, stem, packing, seat and bonnet arrangement must all be selected for the specified minimum temperature. Pneumatic actuation itself does not make a conventional globe valve suitable for cryogenic service; the complete valve-and-actuator assembly must be engineered for the operating conditions.
