Forged Steel Ball Valve
High Performance • Durable • Leak Proof
Forged Steel Ball Valve for reliable high-pressure shutoff in demanding industrial pipeline applications.
African Valve is a leading Forged Steel Ball Valve Manufacturer in Africa, manufacturing and supplying valves designed for positive shut-off in high-pressure and high-temperature industrial piping systems. Manufactured from forged steel, these valves provide enhanced mechanical strength, improved grain structure, and excellent resistance to demanding operating conditions compared to conventional cast body designs. They are suitable for handling liquids, gases, steam, hydrocarbons, and other industrial process media. Available in multiple material grades, pressure classes, end connections, and operating configurations, Forged Steel Ball Valves are supplied to projects across Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, and other African markets, as well as international export destinations.
What Makes a Forged Steel Ball Valve Different?
The Forged Steel Ball Valve consists of forged steel billets which have been formed under high pressure to form a tightly packed and uniformly grained product with good mechanical qualities. This process results in a product having better strength, shock resistance, and capacity to withstand pressures compared to the ordinary casting method used in cast valves. Flow of fluids such as liquids, gases, steam, and other media is controlled by rotating the ball that has been precisely machined at 90 degrees. It has a robust structure, low operating torque, and an ability to provide tight seals, which makes it ideal for use in harsh environments where there are changes in pressure and temperature levels.
