Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve

African Valve supplies double eccentric butterfly valves in Algeria for water, desalination, power, mining, chemical processing and other industrial piping applications where reliable isolation, reduced operating torque and durable sealing are required.

The double eccentric, or double-offset, design positions the shaft away from the valve body centreline and behind the disc centre. As the valve opens, the disc moves away from the seat, reducing rubbing between the sealing surfaces. This helps minimize seat wear and can improve operating efficiency and service life.

Double eccentric butterfly valves can be supplied in different sizes, pressure ratings, body and disc materials, seating arrangements and actuation options to suit the operating conditions of the pipeline.
