The high-performance lug butterfly valve uses an offset disc and shaft arrangement to reduce contact between the disc and seat during operation. This helps reduce friction and wear while providing reliable shut-off. The lug body incorporates threaded or drilled lugs that allow the valve to be bolted directly to the mating pipe flanges using individual bolts.
